This cheerful quilt is one of my all time favorites. I love, love, love Kaffe Fassett fabrics, and this line is no exception. Lush florals, in blue and purple hues, with a dash of whimsical geometric patterns thrown in for fun.
The front of the quilt is composed of 20 different prints from the timeless Kaffe Classics Peacock line. The backing and binding are Kaffe Collective Classics - Guinea Flower in Cobalt.
The quilting largely follows the lines of the squares and triangles.

- Each Homegrown & Handmade quilt is unique. Many of my quilts are my own design, however some are made with the help of a purchased pattern (which is included in the item description, if applicable).
- Unless noted, all quilts are 100% cotton, including the thread, batting and binding. The batting I use is a standard quilter's batting. It's thin enough for spring and summer use, however, when layered with another blanket or two, it's warm enough for fall and winter months.
- All quilts are pieced, sewn, quilted, and bound on my domestic sewing machine, unless otherwise noted.
- After I complete each quilt, I machine wash it in cold water with "color catchers" to ensure that none of the colors bleed. The quilt is then partially dried on low, then air dried. This process gives the quilt that lovely "crinkled" look. It also gives me a chance to check for loose threads or any other issues.
- I recommend typical quilt care: machine wash in cold water and either dry on low or line dry. Machine drying will result in some shrinkage. Quilts tend to shift and get softer over time. After each wash, take a moment to reshape your quilt before hanging it to dry.
- Each quilt is handmade. As such, slight imperfections are a natural part of the design and creation process. I provide numerous photos of each quilt. I'm happy to send more upon request. If you receive a quilt and you are unhappy with it for any reason, I will work with you to resolve the issue to the best of my ability.
